We are smack dab in the middle of a line of ice. We could get anywhere from 1-3 inches of ice tonight. I stopped by the grocery on the way home to get a few things and that is all they had left - a few things! I had to make the ever dreaded trip to Wal-Mart. I could barely get in the parking lot at 4:00. I grabbed the few items I needed and scurried home like a squirrel going to bury my nuts for the winter.Let's see.....
I have:
- bread
- milk
- batteries
- ice cream
- Cheetos
- popcorn
- 3 new books
- Dr. Pepper
What more do I need?

Maybe some electricity so you can see to read and cook that popcorn? Not to mention stay warm?
As Jessica said, it's getting bad here. Our power's been off a half dozen times, but so far it's come back after a few minutes. Sooner or later it will go off for the duration but I'm gonna enjoy the electricity while I can.
