Organizing My Stuff

I was off from work last week and decided to organize my craft stuff. I threw away lots of junk and boxed up some stuff to give away.

Jennie "helped" me Monday and Tuesday. She is really into putting things in the trash can. She is also into pulling things out of the trash can too!

My biggest problem has always been how to store my Stampin Up ink pads. I've tossed around the idea of building a shelf for quite awhile. Yesterday, I finally mapped out what I thought about making. I went to Lowe's and started thinking about what I would need. Last night, I started measuring and cutting. I finished it today and sprayed it with a light coat of white paint.

It's not exactly what I had in mind but it will work for now.
It doesn't look professional by any means but that's OK.
It only cost me $23 and a smashed finger.

Next - I have to work on my paper storage.
I may have to build another room on to the house.....

That shot of Jennie is a keeper for sure. :o)

That shelf and the price tag works for me. I'm all for cheap and functional. As for the paper storage and building on, who needs a living room anyway? Just take it over for your craft stuff, lol! ;o)

Happy 4th!

Love and hugs,

Diane

Wow! I'm impressed! I could never have made something like that (well, only in my mind). You are SO multi-talented.

I am so thrilled that you took after a certain cousin of yours. But you got smarter than she is. HE>HE>HE>..... Those pictures of Jeannie are just too too precious. Just want to grab her up and hug her to pieces. Am still looking forward to an escape to the border. Hey... why not close the kitchen and use it for a craft room. Who needs to cook in this heat....Merry Merry
